Foundation Pouring · Serving Missouri

Foundation Pouring in Missouri

Everything above the foundation depends on it being right. Footings carry the load down to bearing soil, and if they're undersized, out of level, or set above the frost line, the problems show up in the structure, not in the concrete.

Footings, stem walls, and slabs

We excavate and pour footings to the sizes on the plan, form and pour stem walls where the design calls for them, and place slab-on-grade with the vapor barrier and reinforcement the plan specifies. Layout gets checked before anything is poured, because that's the last cheap moment to catch a problem.

Frost depth in mid-Missouri

Footings have to bear below the local frost line so the ground can't heave them. Missouri doesn't set a single statewide depth — jurisdictions in this part of the state generally land in the 24–36 inch range, and the requirement that governs your job is whatever your county or city building department enforces. We build to the depth your inspector requires, and we confirm it before we dig rather than assuming.

Working with builders

Footings and slabs for GCs are a regular part of the schedule. That means showing up when the excavation is ready and being off the site when the framers need it.

Where we pour

Foundation Pouring is available statewide across Missouri. We're based in Fulton and work most often in Fulton, Columbia, Jefferson City, Holts Summit, Ashland, Kingdom City, New Bloomfield, Auxvasse, Lake of the Ozarks, and Mexico.

Common Questions

Answers before you call.

Do you work from engineered plans?

Yes. Send the plans with your estimate request and the quote comes back against what's actually drawn.

That depends on the job and the jurisdiction. It gets sorted out before work starts so nobody is waiting on an inspection that was never scheduled.
